To prepare, coordinate, check and correct all field & office work per office standard procedures. Prepare proposals to clients under office manager direction. Prepare and mange Working Schedule and Job Cost Control. Good knowledge of AutoCAD© AUTODESK® program is required for this position
The survey party chief heads up a field survey crew, which is responsible for creating surveys for construction, topographic, right-of-way, and control survey tasks. Competency in the use of surveying tools such as total station (TST), theodolite, and level to measure elevations, distance and angles is necessary. Great communication skills is necessary as the party chief is responsible for coordinating all survey tasks until finished and communicating with the various trades, companies and private property owners relating to a given project
Min. 8 years experience in AutoCAD© with some surveying drafting experience
